Deleting your account, and everything in it.
Last updated 25 August 2026
You can delete your Braxby account yourself, in under a minute, without asking anyone's permission. There is no form to fill in, no retention period, and nobody to email. This page explains how, and exactly what goes.
1How to delete it
In the Braxby app — web, iOS or Android:
- Open You, then Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. That's it — it happens immediately.
If you can't get into the app — you've lost access to the account you signed in with, or you've already removed the app — email concierge@braxby.com from the address you signed up with, and we will delete it for you. We'll confirm within 30 days, and usually within a couple of days.
2What gets deleted
Everything, in one transaction, the moment you confirm:
- Your profile and sign-in record.
- Your access tokens for Google, Microsoft, Apple iCloud and Spotify — so Braxby immediately loses the ability to read anything.
- Your taste model and everything Braxby learned about you.
- Events extracted from your mail, and your detected trips.
- Your entire conversation history with Braxby.
- Your discover feed, your armed watches and your calendar preferences.
- Your onboarding records and activity history.
If you signed in with Apple, we also call Apple's token-revocation endpoint first, so the grant doesn't linger in your Apple Account with nothing behind it.
3What we keep, and for how long
- Billing records, if you ever paid us — for as long as US tax and accounting law requires. These are financial records, not your personal data in Braxby, and they are held independently of your account.
- Encrypted database backups — deleted data disappears from these as our provider's rolling backup window passes. We do not restore a backup to bring deleted user data back.
Nothing else. Your calendar and mail data is deleted outright and is not archived, anonymised or retained in any other form.
4Also worth doing
Deleting your Braxby account removes our access from our side. To confirm it from yours, you can revoke the connection directly with your provider:
- Google — Account → Third-party apps & services
- Microsoft — Account → Apps and services
- Apple — Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple
- Spotify — Account → Apps
